一、教学目标

1. 知识目标:学生能听懂、会说单词shoessocksumbrellatwenty和句型How much is it/are they?以及答语Its /Theyre...yuan.

2. 能力目标:通过本节课,学生能所学的句型和词汇运用到实际情境中,提高英语口语的运用能力。

3. 情感目标:通过本节课的学习,学生能提高对英语学习的兴趣。

Step 1Pre-reading

  1. Enjoy a song<Number song>

Boys and girls,at first,lets enjoy a song.

  1. Say numbers

This song is about numbers.Now we can say many numbers. Lets try to say.

  1. Teach twenty,then teach from twenty-one to twenty-nine. Here is a learning tip:数字几十几的英文表达,是由整十的数字加个位数构成,别忘记中间的连字符哦

  2. Now let’s read “twenty,thirty...”

Can you find the rules? Yes,they all end with ty

Can you find the special ones? Yes,twenty and forty are different.其他整十数字都是把十几的数字的teen替换成ty构成。

  1. Now we can say the numbers correctly. Numbers are useful. Where can you find them? Look,we can see them on fire engines. We can use them as our QQ numbers. They can be used as room numbers. We can also use numbers to talk about prices.

  2. Look, I bought these things several days ago. They sell at different prices. Look at the schoolbag. It is eighty yuan. Wow,very expensive,right.Look at the teddy. How much is it? Oh,its thirty-two yuan. What about the books? How much are they? They are forty yuan.

  3. Pair work

Well,here are some clothes,fruit and many other things.Lets try to talk about their prices.

Step 2While-reading

  1. We use money to buy things. Some students sell things to get money. Look, Su Hai and Su Yang are selling things because they want to help the people in need. Now,let’s guess. What do they sell? shoes,socks,an umbrella, a fan

Now,lets read them together. What can you find? Yes,shoes and socks are plural forms. Why? Because shoes and socks are always in pairs.We have two right?So we got S here.Got it?

  1. So they sell these things. Who would like these things? Now let’s watch the cartoon. Yes, Mike, Yang Ling and Liu Tao would like these things.

  2. What would they like separately? Let’s read and find. How much are they? Can you talk with your partner? So at last, how much do they get in total?

4.Listen,Su Hai and Su Yang are very happy. They get twenty-eight yuan. Miss Li is happy too. She thinks they are great. She says Well done! So,helping others makes us happy!

Step 3: After-reading

  1. Well,let’s read after the recording. Try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

  2. Now let’s choose one way to read. You can read after one, read in roles, act out the story.

3.Make up a dialogue. Liu Tao would like the shoes. Yang Ling would like the socks. Mike would like the cool umbrella. Who would like the fan? It is still unsold. Can you make up a dialogue? If you want sell the fan ,what will you say?Hello! Can I help you?Come and have a look !This fan is(nice/beautiful/cool)Its (only)yuan.

If you want buy the fan ,what will you say?How much is?Its(nice/cool) I like it!

Step 4: Homework

1. Read the story time fluently
